Ok, so we just recently used Kris and his guys for the 4th time, and I am writing another review just because he and his guys are so awesome!

This time, we used Kris for interior and exterior painting on a custom home in Elfin Forest. He and his guys also did custom wood staining work for our front door, hand rail, and some exterior beams.

Everyone that sees the paint and stain work comment on how great it looks and ask who did it. Several of the other sub contractors commented on what a great job Kris does, and our finish carpenter even said at one point "Man, these painters really make my work look good!".

Kris is very thorough and easy to work work. He even caught a bunch of issues that our general contractor didn't notice. Speaking of, our contractor was pushing for us to use one of his own paint guys which I am SO GLAD we didn't. We would have paid more, and been stuck with a result which wasn't nearly as good.

I really hope Kris never moves onto something else or retires early because any time we ever need paint or stain work done we hope to use him.

1000% would recommend him for any project, big or small - we have used him for all different kinds!

Kris repaired our stucco (walls, foundation and hardscape), painted the house and power washed the roof, making our 24-year old house look brand new.  I am an electrical engineer and DIY person, and I appreciate the quality and professionalism of their work.  He has done about 6 of my neighbors' homes and receives high recommendations.  One of my neighbors said he priced several competitors and Kris' price was low by 15%.  High quality and a low price.

Our home had not been painted an at least 15-20 years. It really needed work. Met Kris at the Home Show and was impressed at his professionalism and care. I just had the exterior of my house painted by Kris Nielsen Painting company. Kris and his crew (Cristobal and Abel) worked hard and did an excellent job. The work was completed professionally, in a timely manner. They used the best quality paint as promised. (Evershield from Dunn Edwards). I plan to hire them again to paint the interior of my house. Kris and his crew were courteous & their work was meticulous. Kris provided us a sample color board with large painted swatches to help with color selection. Our home was power washed & all the windows were covered  with plastic before the painting began. They patched the stucco & caulked all gaps & were good about covering our pavers with tarps. Our 20 plus year old home looks brand new. We would definitely recommend Kris & his crew.

Kris and team came out to paint exterior of 1700 Sq. Ft Home. Pricing was very fair and 1 1/2 years later the product still looks like new. Was impressed with the punctuality of the crew and quality of the job. Would definitely use these guys again for future painting needs!

We had my Mom's exterior painted earlier this month by Kris and his team. They exceeded our expectations and gave us a very reasonable price.

Kris and his team are really exceptional in every way.  This is a really special crew.  So professional, kind and filled with joy it was a pleasure having them around the house.  They were such a hard working bunch, on time early every morning and cleaned up beautifully at the end of every day.  We had them do a large exterior job on our stucco home and it turned out beautiful.  Final walk through uncovered no details missed at all.  They are perfectionists and I look forward to using them again soon on an interior job and would highly recommend them for all your painting needs.

Kris Nielson's Painting just finished the exterior of our home and it looks fantastic! It went from a hideous green and yellow to a beautiful caramel and white. I absolutely LOVE it! His crew was fantastic and showed up on time, always cleaned up and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend Kris. He wasn't quite the cheapest, right in the middle actually, but he matched the price we were looking for. We both had a "gut instinct" about Kris, he was a perfect fit!

Kris just finished painting the entire interior of our home last week, and we are beyond excited how good it looks. His crew showed up every morning as planned, and the job was finished on the time line that was proposed. By basically painting every surface in the house, including doors and staircase , removing old wallpaper and retexturing, we have just taken a decade off the age of the house! Kris and his team just finished patching and repairing the exterior stucco and eves etc. and painted our rental house in Santee. It really needed some TLC and they certainly provided it. The repair and patch work was all done as promised and the painting job looks great. I have been a contractor for over 40 years and I must say Kris Nielsen Painting exceeded my expectations. They gave us a great job at a very reasonable price, I highly recommend this company and will certainly use them for any other painting projects that come up.

I used Kris and his crew of guys at the San Diego airport. It was a job for the FAA and they needed the exterior painted on some buildings. Kris came and talked to us about what the best option was for this project, gave us a great price and his crew did a fantastic job in the amount of time he said they would!!!!! Kris just finished my entire interior of my home and it looks fantastic!  I had major drywall problems and wanted my walls and ceiling retextured and painted.  The walls and ceiling are now smooth and gorgeous and modern looking.  I love the color Kris helped me choose. His crew was nice, showed up on time and didn't leave a mess.   He  painted a rental last year and went back and helped me correct some drywall issues after the bathroom was remodeled.  Great customer service!   This improvement definitely adds value to my home.  Fantastic job!
